What better way to celebrate Martin Luther King Day than to attend the annual MLK Jr. Mass on Monday, January 20th, at 11 am? As a faith community committed to the teachings of love, justice, and peace, The Black Catholic Advisory Committee invites you to attend a special Mass commemorating the birth and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
This year's event, held at St. Ignatius Chapel on the Seattle University Campus, is themed: "His dream is our mission, his courage is our blueprint, and his love is our inheritance." Gregory Alex, the founding director of the Matt Talbot Center, will speak, and the gospel choir of Immaculate Parish will provide music.
