Our voices matter! The Archdiocese of Seattle has heard our feedback and proposed a new draft family for Partners in the Gospel, that includes St. Catherine, Our Lady of the Lake, St. Bridget, and Assumption churches and schools. This configuration is still a recommendation. Please come to the second listening session scheduled for December 9 after the vigil Mass, in Victoria Hall.
St. Catherine Parish is thrilled to have Children's Liturgy of the Word (CLoW) return to the parish! With CLoW, young children leave the sanctuary during the Liturgy of the Word to hear the scripture readings proclaimed and explained at an age-appropriate level. These sessions are not faith formation classes, arts-and-crafts activities, or babysitting during Mass. Rather, the children hear the same Mass readings as adults – but in simpler terms that are easier to grasp. CLoW will be offered most Sundays through May. Check the parish calendar and bulletin for specific dates.
Is your child between 2nd and 8th grade and interested in singing at Mass? This is a great opportunity for you to learn how to sing at church and have a lot of fun doing it. So please save the date in your calendar. If you have any questions or comments, please contact MJ Price at m.price@stbens.net.

Marian consecration is the act of entrusting one's body, soul, possessions, works, and entire life to the protection, guidance, and intercession of Our Lady. Join fellow families in St. Catherine Parish with a do-it-yourself home retreat in preparation for Marian Consecration. We will be using Fr. Michael Geitley's 33 Days to Morning Glory for our daily reflections. Contact Bernadette Thomas for more information.

We are very excited for the upcoming year and for the many graces that your child/children will receive through their First Reconciliation and First Communion!
Children will receive their First Reconciliation and families may leave after their child has received the sacrament. Parents are encouraged to receive the sacrament as well.
