2020 06 24 Open for Mass

To the faithful of St. Catherine,

We have been approved for the celebration of Mass inside the church, beginning this coming weekend, June 27/28. We are following all the guidelines of the Archdiocese, the King County Health Department, and recommendations from the Governor.

Therefore, online registration is limited to 50 parishioners per Mass. Mass times will be on Saturday at 5:00pm and Sunday at 9:30am. Livestream Mass will still be available on Sundays at 9:30am.

The Archbishop’s dispensation for attending Mass continues until further notice. “Anyone attending Mass does so at their own risk. Vulnerable, at-risk and otherwise concerned persons should remain home. Those who attend would follow government regulations regarding potential mandatory quarantine if a fellow attendee subsequently tests positive for COVID-19.” (WSCC document)

You MUST register for Mass by clicking on the following link:

PLEASE ARRIVE AT LEAST 20 MINUTES BEFORE Mass is scheduled to begin. Monitors will check you in when you arrive for Mass. There will be ONLY ONE DOOR OPEN (the north door facing the plaza). Please use the hand sanitizer available at the door as you enter and be sure to keep 6 feet apart as you are being checked in.

Masks MUST be worn at all times except for the reception of Communion. Communion will be distributed at the end of Mass and may be received ONLY in the hand. One may NOT wear gloves for the reception of Communion.

WINDOWS WILL BE OPEN AT ALL MASSES REGARDLESS OF WEATHER for extra ventilation; please dress appropriately.

There will be no congregational singing, no sign of peace, no holy water in the fonts and no distribution of the Precious Blood. There will be no offertory collection but a basket for your donations will be available at the door as you enter and exit. The choir loft and the cry room will not be available.
